Housekeeper / Cleaner

Overall Purpose:

To provide day-to-day support to the Accommodation Management (student accommodation) by delivering a high standard of domestic and housekeeping services to the accommodation.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

Daily cleaning of designated areas, both within the building & outside following site specific Housekeeper Schedule.
Ensure all operation procedure relating to health & safety are adhered to e.g. manual handling & COSHH.
Assist with periodic cleaning, including summer cleans & deep cleans, to a specified high standard.
Checking for any damages and follow reporting procedure accordingly.
To operate various cleaning equipment/machinery in accordance to the training provided.
Responsible for own cleaning material stock levels, within a budgeted allocation.
Adhoc cleaning as required such as relets & room moves.
Other general duties deemed necessary by the accommodation management.
To undertake inspections throughout the year of all apartments and bedrooms and do reinspections if necessary.
