Weekend Home Carer Job Description:


As a Home Instead Chingford Weekend Carer, you will play a pivotal role in the life of someone that you will come to know as your own family.

You'll aid with daily living, fun activities, offering support and company - as well as sharing wonderful moments and memories.


  • Companionship when taking clients to appointments and social gatherings.
  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Collecting prescriptions, grocery shopping, and other errands.
  • Perform modest housekeeping, such as laundry, ironing or help with cleaning and vacuuming
  • Oversee medication reminders and prompts and offer medical support if needed.
  • Assist clients in getting in and out of bed each morning and night.
  • Running a shower or bath and staying nearby in case they require assistance.
  • Assisting with clothing and undressing as well as personal care help as needed.
  • Food and meal preparation, cooking and ensuring the client has a healthy diet.
No previous experience or qualifications are needed as full paid, and excellent training is provided.

We take time to train our Care Professionals and ensure they are well equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle any circumstance.

  • An excellent listener, the ability to communicate properly, and the ability to create connections with clients and their families in a pleasant and kind manner are all required.

Requirements:


  • Full UK Driving License is ideal
  • If your DBS is on the Update Services, you will need to provide this if you are invited to the interview.
