Assistant Service Manager

£32k basic / £40k - £45 OTE

Romford, Essex

Permanent/Full Time

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday (8am - 6pm) / 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am - 5pm)

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join they busy Service Department, based in Romford.

You will need to have previous experience within a management/supervisory position and have strong customer service skills. Applywith us now


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for assisting the Service Manager in all aspects of running the front of house Service Desk as well as coaching and mentoring your colleagues.
  • You will be managing a team of 7 people, including service advisors/receptionist/administrators.
  • You will be dealing with first stage complaints (ensuring all complaints are handled and resolved).
  • Ensuring the team is delivering exceptional customer service levels at all times.
  • Coordinating an organised and costeffective process for aftersales and servicing of vehicles.
  • Ensuring all details are communicated through to the workshop in an efficient manner.

Your Background & Skill:


  • Proven experience within a management/supervisory position (within a car main dealer).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage a team.
  • You will have the ability to negotiate at all levels.
  • Strong leadership abilities, caring about customer loyalty and satisfaction.
