Finance Analyst - Global FMCG Company - Northampton (Flexible working)
We are currently recruiting for one of the UK's largest and most recognisable food and drink brands.

This is an iconic food and drink company whose brands are sold in over 80 countries, have a vast number of products and can offer excellent career progressionwithin the business.


Role:

You will be responsible for Business Partnering with the Marketing team

  • Providing accurate and timely reporting of financial results with variances to budget and forecast explained and challenged
  • Analysing performance and providing key inputs into the monthly KPI and Brand reviews
  • Ownership of the P&L reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Support in posting of month end journals and support with Commercial Finance month end
  • Help deliver Financial Control e.g., spend tracking, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis ensuring there are no surprises
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Strong sense of processes, practices and procedures in financial operations
  • Experience of dealing with and influencing a team and communicating effectively at all levels
  • A keen sense of self development and a desire to learn
  • Ideally background within food, drinks or fastmoving consumer goods would be beneficial but not essential
  • Ideally qualified or actively studying to be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
