Ocean Freight Operator - Import and Export - Market Leading Business - Career Progression - £30-32K

The Company

The Role

The Ocean Freight Operator, the role is to work from our client's Manchester Office.

Focused on Ocean Freight Import and Export, in the role you will:

Independently handling ocean import and export shipments from start to finish including booking, shipment control, documentation, transport insurance, accounting and customs handling.
Will also handle occasional air imports.
Customer support in conjunction with our Sales Department including occasional client visits when required
Arrange Customs Clearances
Communication with our UK, Overseas Offices and agents
Checking of job file reporting, accuracy and profitability

What We Are Looking For
To be the successful applicant for the Ocean Freight Operator, you should have:

Minimum 2 Years of experience within Freight Forwarding, preferably in Air & Sea logistics.
Must be enthusiastic, ambitious, selfmotivated
Good knowledge of MS Office products
Knowledge of Cargowise One desirable

The Package
Our client offers a leading training scheme & career progression. They are offering a starting salary of £30,000-£32,000 for the Ocean Freight Operator role.
