Job Title:
Regional Operations Centre Operative


Hours: 4 on 4 off rotation (Days, Nights & Weekends & Bank Holidays) (42hrs pw)

Hourly Rate:
£15.50 per hour


What we are looking for:


  • Computer literate.
  • SIA Security and CCTV Licence holder.
  • A good communicator verbally and in writing.
  • Be able to work under pressure as part a closeknit team.
  • Be able to work under pressure as part a closeknit team.
  • Have a good geopolitical knowledge of the UK&I, Middle East, Africa and CIS regions.
  • Have good analytical skills and be able to identify threats that could impact Deutsche Bank property, personnel or reputation.
  • Be able to prepare concise and accurate reports and notifications.

Responsibilities:


Proactively monitor the security systems in operation within the Regional Operations Centre (ROC) and the Security Control Room (SCR) for the UKMEAR region.


  • Respond to alarms and report/record relevant details required to the appropriate vendor.
  • Assist the noncontrol room security staff in response to security and life safety situations.
  • Facilitate the routine security systems management of installed equipment (CCTV/access control etc) through regular operational checks.
  • Report immediately any/all equipment faults to the relevant vendor.
  • Continuous monitoring of Corporate Security approved media sources to identify any potential impact to DB operations or business travel in the region.
  • Maintain written communication in accordance with Assignment Instructions (AI's).
  • Adhere to the Equal Opportunities/Health and Safety policies on behalf of both Mitie and the client.
  • Establish and maintain timely and effective communication between all management levels during incidents, accident, and emergency situations.
  • Compile and issue daily Corporate Security updates
  • Compilation and issuing of daily Corporate Security travel reports.
  • Maintain full understanding of Corporate Security Key Operating Procedures (KOP's) to effectively manage incidents relating to crisis management
  • Remain vigilant to safeguard the security of all personnel and assets within each DB premises.
  • Respond to emergency situations and assist with emergency building evacuations when necessary.
  • Maintain clear, concise radio and telephone communications.
  • Remain alert to local/regional events which could potentially impact business operations.
  • Remain proactive in your approach to the role and escalate any concerns you may have to Mitie management.
  • Any other duty deemed relevant by contract management.
