Description
Do you have a valid forklift licence? Or do you have a lapsed licence that you would like to renew? Our client is willing and able to provide in house licences so if you'd like to get back to working on a forklift then we would love to hear from you

Our role is working in a tidy, but busy yard and will incorporate both yard activities but also working inside the factory therefore a willingness to multitask is essential

Location:
Outskirts of St Ives, Cambridgeshire


Salary:
£10.50 per hour (45 hour working week) £24,570


Hours: 7am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday with 2 x paid 15-minute breaks every day


Duration:
Client will consider Temporary to Permanent OR Permanent


Benefits:
Holiday Pay, Pension, Attendance Bonus for
Permanent Staff of £1.00 per hour


Duties:


  • Use of Forklift for loading and unloading delivery vans
  • Moving stock around the warehouse and yard
  • Manual handling of heavy items
  • Working inside the factory to help do quality control of finished goods
  • Use of wrapping machine for preparing goods for dispatch
  • Machine operation on occasions
  • Use of sonic welding machine on occasions
  • Keeping all areas of the yard clean and tidy

Experience/Skills Required:


  • Forklift experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions
  • Physically fit and energetic
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
