IT & Information systems consulting:

Business Analysis, Project Management, Change management, Front Office Support (functional and technical), Development (e.g C++, Python, C#, Java, VBA), Financial Softwares (e.g.

Sophis, Murex, Summit, Calypso),IT Transformation & Innovation.


As part of Quanteam Group, Quanteam UK (incorporated in 2010) has today more than 80 consultants, working for major Capital Markets players in London.


ROLE


The consultant will be working on strategic transformation projects and will have understanding of all phases of project life cycle, with daily tasks and responsibilities of business analysis and stakeholder management.

It provides an opportunity to workin large scale transformation programs with an exposure to multiple products and business lines.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Work closely with Front Office, Middle Office, IT, Quants and other relevant stakeholders to provide a high level of control towards the Fixed Income & BSM IT transformation agenda globally.

Take ownership of all deliverables and maintain a strong workingrelationship with the business throughout.
Accomplish project objectives, ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget. Strong focus on driving process efficiencies through automation, process improvement and system enhancements.

Collaborate with project members providing leadership, direction, guidance and support for team member's assignments ensuring self and team anticipates, monitors, actively manages, reports and escalates all risk and compliance issues as appropriate.


REQUIREMENTS:


Strong experience with Investment Banks, Financial Services, Consulting firms or other financial institutions in a strong functional and problem-solving capacity.

Knowledge of Derivatives markets and products, with necessary background in operational systems and processes involved is essential. Keen interest in financial markets / regulations is a plus.
Hands-on analytical, ability to deal with ambiguity and to work independently on complex advisory assignments is essential.

Must have quick decision-making and critical-thinking skills with an ability to identify problems, design and articulate solutions, and implement change.

Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work with changing priorities and an ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines in a high-intensity, client-facing environment is a must.

Self-motivated and ability to work as an "individual contributor" as well as in a team environment.

Resilience to work though challenging issues and problems - Someone who enjoys the challenge of overcoming difficulties in order to deliver a project on time.

Extensive experience of working in Agile Teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to think creatively and translate ideas into working reality.
Previous experience of working with Summit may be advantageous, but not mandatory.
