Member Engagement Lead - London, United Kingdom - RICS
Description
This is a hybrid position and you will also be expected to travel and cover London, and the surrounding areas.
Key Achievements & Responsibilities
- Gather and provide strategic insight to central teams regarding product and service demands from members
- Work collaboratively with other Member Engagement Leads to drive and deliver a blended communication and engagement plan aimed at engaging RICS professionals, key stakeholders and other industry related professionals.
- Manage the relationship with the Regional and National Boards ensuring activities and objectives are aligned to the RICS Corporate Goals
- Work with the Corporate Communications and Global Engagement teams to ensure a regular flow of information is shared with, and consumed by, Members in each of their markets.
- Work with the Public Affairs and Thought Leadership teams to ensure members are aware of and are connected to our influencing and advocacy work.
- Support the delivery of the RICS UK Awards by managing a selected group of UK judges and manage the process of identifying regional award winner
- Respond to all enquiries from RICS Professionals within your region and use the matrix structure effectively to identify colleagues who can support you and the member
- Identify opportunities to implement new ways of building member engagement and work with the relevant functional leadership teams across the organisation to execute those ideas
Experience Required
- Ability to assess and distil market insight and formulate strategic plans based on that insight
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills and ability to instil confidence in senior stakeholders
- Innovative and creative approach to problem solving
- Relevant market knowledge relating to industry, culture, economy
- Strong knowledge of the directorate activities across RICS
- Highly developed strategic influencing skills, with the ability to drive solutions and service deliverables through others
- Strong EQ / people skills, natural collaborator
- Demonstrable evidence of building and developing strong, trusted relationships, internally and externally
- Excellent skills in identifying innovative, solutionbased propositions to deliver high impact results
- Able to communicate effectively in writing, orally and with strong presentation and influential skills
- Demonstrate ability to operate in a matrix structure and international environment
- Confident and motivated selfstarter with a flexible and agile approach
- Demonstrable track record of personal development in a high challenge high support environment
- Line management experience desirable
