We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Challenger Bank in their established, highly reputable and successful Asset Finance division.

They are well known for their customer service and delivery as well as having a strong appetite to write business.

Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a Sales Analyst to join their team.


As an Asset Finance Sales Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the sales and operations of a designated BDM, focusing on helping prop and assess deals that come in from both direct and brokers to ensure delivery of the BDM's targets.


You will communicate effectively with both internal (Operations, Credit and BDMs) and external stakeholders (Customers and Brokers), always exhibiting a 'can do' approach and consistently demonstrating and delivering on the Bank's promises.

This is a fast-pacedrole where building and holding strong relationships whilst delivering excellent customer service is paramount.

This role offers hybrid working from their offices in Reading.

Key responsibilities of the Asset Finance Sales Analyst;

  • Preparation of customer and introducer new proposals, review papers for submission to Credit for decision ensuring completion is to a high standard and all information is sense checked for accuracy and relevance. Subsequent liaison with Credit to answerqueries arising or obtain answers and relay in a timely & accurate manner.
  • For new introducer transactions requiring submission to Credit, undertake an initial high level review to determine if inscope appetite wise (term trading, asset type, financial strength), gather any obvious missing information from the introducer, andadd commentary where appropriate for onward submission to Credit proposal.
  • Ensure designated introducers are contacted regularly to obtain new business opportunities for consideration which are within appetite and will contribute positively towards achievement of personal & wider team financial targets.
  • Monitor monthly Management Information and covenant requirements either direct from our Introducer Partners and customers or liaise with relevant BDM's as appropriate.
Requirements of the Asset Finance Sales Analyst;

  • Previous experience within the Asset Finance industry.
  • Strong written, numerical, and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal, written & presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent team player who actively seeks to proactively support the team.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Passionate about customer service and is committed to 'making it happen'.
