Social Worker - Blackpool - Children in Need - CIN - £41/Hour

Search Consultancy are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Children in Need Team based in Blackpool.

In this role as a Social Worker you will have experienced of attending LAC Reviews and previously have worked in a looked after children statutory role.


  • Experience and demonstrable skills in engaging young people through a variety of direct work methods
  • At least 2 years' experience in statutory children's social work
  • Good understanding of safeguarding children processes
  • Experience of court work
  • Experience of managing a varied and complex case load
  • Ability to write concise, fit for purpose court statements and ability to maintain up to date & accurate records.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience of inputting into children's services data systems (Mosaic;ICS)
  • Ability to be flexible, resilient and reflective.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Postqualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
