The Role

We're currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Care Co-ordinator to join one of our reputable Domiciliary Care branches in Basildon on a full-time basis.

Salary:
£22,600 per annum, plus oncall pay

Hours: Monday to Friday, plus out of hours on-call duty as and when required

Duties & Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

Line Manage Care Workers and other designated Juniors.
Organise and coordinate Care Services.
Ensure that the care worker rotas are organised and sufficiently well planned to consider travel time.
Work with recruitment personnel to ensure sufficient current and future staffing levels.
Plan and allocate care assignments to appropriate care workers, with due regard for the needs of the individual and the skills and attributes of the worker.
Liaise as necessary with partner professionals and organisations (e.g., social workers, GPS, nurses) in respect of developing and delivering holistic, personcentred packages of care.
Take part in the On Call out of hours' service as required.
Previous experience of delivering care support services.
Understanding of principles of good care.
Able to prioritise, particularly under pressure.
Flexible; willing and able to work outside normal hours wen requested.
