Role Context:

Principal Planner on large capital project


Team:

Excellent opportunities to progress both vertically and horizontally.


Training will be provided by the team on how to correctly use the in-house project controls systems to ensure you achieve your potential.


You will get the opportunity to contribute to digital interactive planning sessions (float analysis) and learn how to deliver in a precise timely manner.

Projects & Tools:

Always looking to work with cutting edge projects and utilize tools effectively to ensure a high standard of completion.

Attention to detail is important, to a 3-4 planning level, in order to hit the ground running.

Working on a progressive end-to-end project controls system toolset.

You'll be:


  • Responsible for the supervision of the delivery of fully resourced, robust project schedules
  • Tasked with overseeing, coordinating and production of all project plans and associated documents ('S' Curves, Histograms, Tabulated man hour / progress data)
  • Responsible for providing management with the relevant contract information
  • Carrying out all works in compliance with corporate and Project specific procedures.
  • IT/Computer Literacy in particular Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, initiative and drive.
  • Required to promote good working relations within the Project Controls Teams and other project departments and client representatives.
  • Required to control, directly supervise, monitor and guide day to day activities of the planning team
  • Required to show commitment to and promote Worley values and ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Engaged with the client planner on all matters in an open and transparent manner.
You'll have:


  • Previous planning experience in major project construction / IAP scheduling
  • Excellent understanding of earned value & multiple WBS management
  • Demonstrable experience in team working and the ability to participate in multi functional meetings
  • Specialist knowledge in Primavera P6 10
  • Previous Planning Experience, responsible for construction campaigns
