MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an independent financial advisory firm who are seeking to recruit an Independent Financial Advisor.

Our client is looking for like-minded financial advisors to be part of a progressive, client focused team in a employed position.

In this role, you will be fully supported as you build and develop your client bank, you will gain an understanding of you client's financial goals and formulate financial strategies, guiding your clients to achieve their financial goals.

The Role

Experience of advising and servicing, both retail and business clients including responsibility for the preparation of supporting documentation.
Manage potentially complex cases, from inception to completion and find solutions to technical enquiries.
Acquiring and developing new business from new/existing Clients and professional connections, referrals and company lead generation programme.
Management of your own workflows and tasks. Working on own initiative to achieve agreed outcomes set by the Financial Planning Manager and consistently meeting preagreed service levels.
You will need to be proficient in understanding and identifying client needs/objectives, derived from detailed information recorded in Know Your Client (KYC) documents; this will be compiled by yourself during client meetings and other information gatheringexercises.
Consistent accuracy and attention to detail, able to adhere to quality compliance standards and deliver the highest level of client service.

The Person

Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS)
Minimum 3 years' experience, preferable within an IFA firm
Clear demonstration of a client centric approach with a well presented and articulate manner.
Experience in developing new business and managing a portfolio of clients
