Description

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic
Capital Projects Officer with Construction Project Management Experience to join our close-knit Projects Team on a 2-year fixed term contract.

Our Projects Team handle upwards of 30 projects at any given time so flexibility and resourcefulness are essential qualities.


FTE - Full-Time

Contract Type - Fixed Term (2 Years)

Salary - £28,736 - £30,476

Location - David Hockney Building/Remote

Responsibilities include:


  • Acting as the key point of contact for all members of a construction project (engineers, architects, construction team)
  • Plan the timeline for all construction operations and schedule key milestones to ensure deadlines are met
  • Identify the requirements for Bradford College and liaise with other specialists such as IT, Estates and Curriculum Teams in relation to specific proposed building projects
  • Facilitate the review of all contract documentation and funding returns
Hybrid working is negotiable for this role.

Education & Training

  • GCSE A
  • C or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in Mathematics and English and/or relevant experience.
  • A Level 3 Qualification
  • A Project Management qualification is desirable but not essential

Experience

  • Experience of Project Management in a large organisation, preferably public sector
  • Operational experience of costing and pricing
  • Experience of Construction Management
  • Knowledge/experience of Contract Management
