Description

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic
Capital Projects Officer with Construction Project Management Experience to join our close-knit Projects Team on a 2-year fixed term contract.

Our Projects Team handle upwards of 30 projects at any given time so flexibility and resourcefulness are essential qualities.

FTE - Full-Time

Contract Type - Fixed Term (2 Years)

Salary - £28,736 - £30,476

Location - David Hockney Building/Remote

Responsibilities include:

Acting as the key point of contact for all members of a construction project (engineers, architects, construction team)
Plan the timeline for all construction operations and schedule key milestones to ensure deadlines are met
Identify the requirements for Bradford College and liaise with other specialists such as IT, Estates and Curriculum Teams in relation to specific proposed building projects
Facilitate the review of all contract documentation and funding returns

Hybrid working is negotiable for this role.

Education & Training

GCSE A
C or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in Mathematics and English and/or relevant experience.
A Level 3 Qualification
A Project Management qualification is desirable but not essential

Experience

Experience of Project Management in a large organisation, preferably public sector
Operational experience of costing and pricing
Experience of Construction Management
Knowledge/experience of Contract Management
