Description

Overview:

The Change Management Lead will own the design and delivery of change management activities for a specific workstream, ensuring that the people side of change is effectively managed and that the people affected by the proposed changes are ready, willing and able to work effectively in the new ways as required with high levels of engagement.

SOW in place.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a clear, overarching and integrated change management plan for the workstream to ensure that the various changes land effectively and sustainably and that people affected by the changes are ready, willing and able to work effectively in the new ways with high levels of engagement
  • Lead and own the delivery of the change management plan and activities (including those delivered by partners such as Wipro). These activities will include personas, impact assessments, mindset and behaviour approaches, communication plans, change networks, adoption plans, training plans, change effectiveness measurements and business readiness assessments
  • Run, manage, monitor and track 4 x key assessments and use the outputs to both inform the change management plan and the design of relevant mitigation strategies and activities:
o business readiness assessments to understand potential barriers

o change impact assessments to understand how different populations are affected

o training needs analysis to understand capability/skill gaps and training needs

o stakeholder assessment to understand how to drive comms and engagement

  • Using the output of these assessments, review other project plans and make recommendations to adjust (eg. influence sequencing or alignment of change activities) where appropriate to maximise both effectiveness and adoption of the changes
  • Maintain oversight of project impacts, dependencies and the populations impacted, initiating actions to minimise disruption to the business
  • Develop and facilitate immersive workshops with key groups to help them "reimagine" the future and what the changes mean for them
  • Drive knowledge transfer liaising with L&D teams to identify appropriate training approaches and techniques based on the scope and complexity of the change and the outputs of the assessments
  • Work with the Training Lead to establish the Train the Trainer network for the programme
  • Liaise with the Comms Lead to drive engagement and adoption, using the outputs from the assessments and proactively inputting to comms and engagement plans ensuring we harness advocates for change and have strategies in place to win over and engage those who are passive or resistant
  • Own the Change Network community, establish it, ensuring it is embedded within the programme and business and is used to help land change effectively and sustainably
  • Provide an assurance role to partners engaged in change activities across the Phoenix programme (including Wipro) and support those partners in the delivery of change and the change activities underpinning these, ensuring outputs are delivered to time and to the correct quality
