Apollo home healthcare is seeking dedicated Nursery Nurses to join our dynamic team, focusing on supporting children with complex care requirements.

As a Nursery Nurse you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.


You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

Meet our service user
Our service user is a charming 3-year-old girl who is living with her family in Liverpool. She requires care throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis to support her complex care needs.


She is full of joy, curiosity, and boundless energy, she loves story time with her care team and engaging through play time.

Painting and messy play are top of the list of activities she enjoys during play time.

Watching YouTube on her iPad and snuggling down for a good film are some of her favourite pastimes. Her preferred movies to watch are Disney films and similar animated films like Sing.


Throughout the day your role will be to support with her morning routine at home before accompanying her to nursery.

Here you will closely observe and tend to her clinical care needs when required, you will ensure her comfort and promote social interaction.


Throughout the night you will provide support with her personal care, moving and handling, making close observations, and attending to her clinical care needs when required.

You will provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful night's sleep offering reassurance and comfort when needed.


To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:

  • 3 months previous care or nursery nurse hands on experience

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

We have the following shifts available

  • Full Time &
Part Time Nights: 2 -3 shifts per week

  • 6pm 6am
  • Part Time Days: (Mon-Fri) 2 shifts per week
  • 9am 3pm

Take a look at our pay rates

Weekdays:
£13.50 per hour (£81 approx. per 6-hour shift)

Weeknights:
£14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Weekends:
£14.50 per hour (£174 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Bank Holidays:
£16.00 per hour (£192 approx. per 12-hour shift)
