We have a truly exciting inhouse opportunity for a In House Corporate Lawyer to support our new venture capital fund investing in health tech start-ups.

The M&A Counsel will report to the General Counsel & Company Secretary and work closely with the Corporate Strategy and Finance Director, providing expert legal due diligence, structuring and transaction integration support to further inorganic growth inthe business.

Key Responsibilities

As M&A Counsel, you'll create and own a portfolio of acquisition and investment documentation, support investment evaluation, lead and project manage the legal work streams for due diligence, work with trusted partners in the final stages of acquisitionswhere appropriate, produce clear appraisal reports to support Board decisions, and be responsible for establishing corporate governance and monitoring of acquisitions where appropriate.

To support this, you'll develop a deep understanding of Simplyhealth'sM&A strategy, the markets in which Simplyhealth invests and develop and deep understanding of industry benchmarks and trends.

We'd also like you to advise the majority owned investment entities, and the wider Group as required, on a diverse range of corporate and commercial matters including commercial contracting, general employment matters and corporate structure.
