Core services include repair, maintenance, construction and installation of utility and infrastructure assets. We provide traffic management through our sister businesses; Go Traffic Management and Capital Traffic Management. Vegetation management and tree cutting activities are provided through EOS Contracting.

Our Role
As a Materials Administrator, you will provide support to the Operations teams as part of the Cadent Gas contract.
You will ensure the materials for the contract are effectively checked, coordinated and ordered, through the management of an ordering system and liaising with the Operations team.
Your role will be to ensure we are minimising waste on the contract, ensuring we are maximising reusable materials and not over-ordering.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to:
- Manage the information coming through the Materials Ordering System
- Liaise with Supervisors and subcontract teams to ensure materials ordered are correct
- Provide a frontline telephone service to both internal and external customers
- Ensure that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner
- Maintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into the works management systems, ensuring that all issues are recorded and escalated
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved to both external and internal customers, providing excellent customer satisfaction every time
- Ensure the timely collation, coordination and distribution of the materials
- Provide daily and weekly reports as required and to ensure that all service levels and objectives are achieved
- Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative / coordination role
- Ideally previous experience in the Gas industry, although training will be given
- Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
