SRM Recruitment are partnering with an established, privately owned business in the construction/infrstructure services industry around £80mn turnover to identifty a permanent
AP Clerk for their Head Office finance team.

The business and role is based in North West London

Post Overview:

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the primary focus of the role is to support the Accounts Payable function from Receipting Goods and Services through to Payment of invoices, for all Group companies.

This is a hands on role working within a wider finance team of 10 people.

This role will involve working with all departments to ensure accurate invoice recording and timely authorisations and payment of invoices using the ERP software the organisation utilises.

The role holder is expected to:

Posting AP Invoices which are matched into accounting system
Supplier statement reconciliations
Chasing for Good receipt notes and internal queries
Ad-Hoc supplier invoice queries and responding to suppliers
Checking Expense claims for compliance and processing
Processing company credit cards
Fleet Management
Other such activity as requested by the Accounts Payable Supervisor from time to time.

Skills and experience:

This is a transactional role which requires numeracy and ideally some experience of AP work, however this is not essential.
An individual who has the desire to improve processes and be involved in improving processes to increase efficiency.
A desire to work in a fastpaced team environment, with a robust and enthusiastic personality and the ability to meet strict deadlines
High standards, attention to detail and a desire to develop both themselves and their role over time.
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels across different departments and divisions.

**Salary £25-30,000 + benefits.
