Digital and Transformation Lead
WREN PCN
Job Summary
The objective of the Digital Transformation Lead is to lead and develop a strategic plan to build a robust digital infrastructure for the PCN and to implement this to drive integrated working, build staff skills and capabilities, enhance patient access whilst protecting the workforce, improve digital accessibility for patients, consider the digital maturity of the PCN, consider the population's health needs and health inequalities within the community and is underpinned by a quality improvement methodology.
Main Duties of the Job
- Support and deputise on behalf of the Director of Operations
- Develop and maintain an indepth understanding of the PCN digital infrastructure and business intelligence tools
- Procure and manage digital tools for the PCN which are aligned to a framework of fundamental principle
- Proactively project manage all digital projects and also evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention
- Ensure all initiatives are supported by a clinical lead and practice management
- Ensure all staff receive training on the digital tools within the PCN
- Ensure the induction of all new members of staff receive training and resources on tools available
- Ensure all initiatives are fully scoped and underpinned by a quality improvement methodology
- Remain up to date with the national and local PCN guidance.
- Work in partnership with the PCN leadership and management team
- Identify and develop relationships with practice staff, private providers, the local primary care team and other key partners to enable good working relationships and promote and share best practice
- Deliver technical information in a nontechnical and engaging way to a range of stakeholders

WREN PCN has a population of approximately 57,500 residents registered with 5 practices across the Fylde Coast. PCNs form a key building block of the NHS long-term plan.

- Project management qualification, such as PRINCE or equivalent experience
- Education to masters degree level or equivalent professional experience
Experience

- Experience in delivering multiple programmes of IT projects through the entire project lifecycle in a health or care setting
- Experienced in delivering multiple programmes of IT projects through the entire project lifecycle.
