The Talent and Performance Lead will be responsible for supporting and working closely with the Senior Strategy Execution and Engagement Manager to support the execution of People development within the Asda Service Centre.
Key roles and responsibilities for this role are:
- Support the Senior Strategy Execution and Engagement Manager to implement an environment that enables career & professional growth across the function
- Create, keep track of and own changes linked to the skills matrix to enhance rolebased competencies, supporting assessments, competencybased discussions and employee development plans, supporting role growth and future talent
- Monitor opportunities that have been identified to improve execution and keep track of the function reaching organisation resources.
- Help keep coaching/development programmes up to date using a project management approach partnering with the change team within the function.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, and best practices in employee development and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Support the Talent and Capability Manager to ensure seamless execution of the organisations people agenda
How you will achieve this is through:
Knowledge- Demonstrate a good understanding on how to develop people and work with key frameworks to enable growth within role, succession planning and talent management. The ability to support multiple business areas to develop people and an understanding of a shared service centre operations.
Communicating and influencing - Develop, maintain and manage effective relationships and communications with internal stakeholders to enable delivery of the Talent and Capability objective.
Freedom to think and act - Has the ability to think in an agile way. Assists in looking to continually improve the execution of the people strategy through proactively seeking feedback, challenging the norm and staying relevant in the external market.
Experience - An understanding of robust capability frameworks combined with knowledge in developing people to be their best in order to deliver a world class talent pool.
Work Where it Works
Our hybrid way of working allows a good balance between working from home and in the office.
Throughout any training, you will be required to work from the office full time to ensure you get the support you need to be successful.
Following completion of your training validation, you would be expected in the office a minimum of 2 days a week, with additional days from time to time to suit business needs.
