Description

We are seeking a highly motivated research assistant and coordinator to integrate into a research team addressing real world aspects of Cognitive Neuropsychology to support research into the understanding of post-stroke cognitive impairment.


The position is fixed term for 8 months, it could be full time or part-time (min 40% FTE) a job share would also be considered.


The post-holder will be expected to contribute to data collection in clinical settings in community stroke rehabilitation and home visits.

The home visits cover the whole of Oxfordshire and travel to more remote villages may take up to 45 minutes of travel time which could be facilitated by a valid driving licence and access to own or other independent means of transport.

In addition, a coordinating role will include various aspects of project management help to the PI, including research governance, communication between different co-investigators and collaborators, organising patient involvement meetings, curation of relevant research data, and running day to day support for the research group.

An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required due to working with "at risk" adults.
