We have an opportunity for a National Lead - Children & Young People to join our team.

This is a part time role for 15 hours a week.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Registered nurse qualified in children's care.
  • Current NMC registration.
  • Knowledge of the relevant CQC regulations, particularly in CYP.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Experienced in leading and managing CYP services in a variety of healthcare settings.
  • Clinical specialist with a wide clinical network in CYP.
  • Experience in setting up and developing CYP services.
  • Demonstrable leadership in being able to pull people together across systems and inspire and motivate them to deliver common aims and targets.
  • Significant influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to engage, build and sustain relationships within the company and with external organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Able to bring information together, use data and produce board level reports.
  • Strong team working skills and able to work as part of a team, in a collegiate manner.
  • CQC inspection and achieve good ratings an beyond.
  • RCA and SI investigation and management.

Duties of this role include:


  • To lead on the care of children and young people (CYP) across Circle Health Group (Circle).
  • To lead on the development of strategy, quality objectives and their delivery, practice, education and learning for CYP across the Circle Health Group (CHG).
  • Supporting the work force plan development and delivery.
  • Act as an inspirational leader for CYP and speak with authority as a leading SME
