Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust has an exciting and challenging new role within the Pharmacy Department and requires an enthusiastic individual to join our department.


The post holder will be based in the Pharmacy Dispensaries located across both campuses (QMC and City) and will supply medications to service users.

Full in house training will be given.


We are looking for applicants who are eager to learn, able to organise and prioritise their own work to meet deadlines, and able to work using their own initiative.

Applicants will be expected to complete a Buttercups qualification in Pharmacy Services (If they don't already possess this).

A high level of concentration is required for long periods of time. You will need to be committed and adaptable to change.

A positive image of Pharmacy at NUH Trust should be demonstrated at all times while showing a commitment to support the Trust values and behaviours.

This is a weekend contract working Saturday and Sunday each week from 9-3pm on both days

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

There will be some working within Pharmacy stores which will involve some lifting and carrying of medicines. There is also some reception duties involved. It is a very fast paced environment and concentration, focus and accuracy is paramount to ensure patient safety.

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

The system will provide us with an outcome of your check which will be stored securely on your personal file along with all other pre-employment check documentation.
