Credit Controller


Our client a leading employer in the local area are are looking to recruit for a
Credit Controller to join their team.

The role will initially be on a
fixed term contract with the possibility of being made permanent.


The Role

  • Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment
  • Responding to client queries
  • Chasing overdue payments from customer
  • Keeping customer retention levels high
  • Providing administrative support to finance team
  • Generating reports for management
  • Hitting monthly targets to receive commission bonus
  • Setting up, agreeing, and altering payment plans
  • Active management of aged debts
  • Other ad hoc duties

Essential Criteria

  • At least 1 year (+) working in credit control
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Good level of accounting knowledge
  • A positive cando attitude
  • Ability to work both alone and as part of a team

Salary:
£21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Armagh City,

County Armagh:
reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Experience:

- accounting: 1 year (preferred)

- credit control: 1 year (preferred)
