Credit Controller

Our client a leading employer in the local area are are looking to recruit for a
Credit Controller to join their team.

The role will initially be on a
fixed term contract with the possibility of being made permanent.

The Role

Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment
Responding to client queries
Chasing overdue payments from customer
Keeping customer retention levels high
Providing administrative support to finance team
Generating reports for management
Hitting monthly targets to receive commission bonus
Setting up, agreeing, and altering payment plans
Active management of aged debts
Other ad hoc duties

Essential Criteria

At least 1 year (+) working in credit control
Excellent computer skills
Good level of accounting knowledge
A positive cando attitude
Ability to work both alone and as part of a team

£21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Experience:

- accounting: 1 year (preferred)

- credit control: 1 year (preferred)
