Credit Controller
Our client a leading employer in the local area are are looking to recruit for a
Credit Controller to join their team.
fixed term contract with the possibility of being made permanent.
The Role
- Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment
- Responding to client queries
- Chasing overdue payments from customer
- Keeping customer retention levels high
- Providing administrative support to finance team
- Generating reports for management
- Hitting monthly targets to receive commission bonus
- Setting up, agreeing, and altering payment plans
- Active management of aged debts
- Other ad hoc duties
Essential Criteria
- At least 1 year (+) working in credit control
- Excellent computer skills
- Good level of accounting knowledge
- A positive cando attitude
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team

Salary:
£21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
Schedule:

reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- credit control: 1 year (preferred)
