Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Abuse Housing Outreach Worker to cover maternity leave.

Based within the Neighbourhood Relations Team, reporting to the Partnership and Inclusion Coordinator you will be responsible for providing housing related outreach advice and support to victims of domestic abuse with the aim of overcoming barriers to housing and preventing homelessness.


You should have experience of delivering front line housing services as well as a good understanding of safeguarding practice, including domestic abuse and the challenges victims face.


You will contribute to multi agency arrangements for victims of domestic abuse, sharing relevant information and safety planning, including providing additional security in homes.

You mut have excellent communication skills, good timekeeping and organisation skills and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.


You will be required to have 5 GCSEs or the equivalent at Grade C or above, including Maths and English and/ or relevant experience.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of delivering front line services, good IT skills, a good understanding of equality & diversity and data protection principles.

A full driving license and access to a car is desirable.
