Our Team


The Financial Operations team consists of a Head of Finance Operations, an AR Manager, 2 Credit Controllers, a Billing Assistant and an AP Executive.

The team manages collections across 40 countries, working closely with the sales team across MVF. The team also manages all supplier and expense payments, and billing for the MVF Group.

  • We strive to analyse Credit Risk, optimise Cash Collection and reduce the overdue debt for the business for over 1000 live accounts in a vast range of industries along with ensuring suppliers and partners are paid on time_

The Role

  • You will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager with various aspects of the business's credit control activities, helping to maintain maximum cash collection whilst driving down debt and helping to minimise risk exposure and bad debt._
  • The company has a vast range of clients and suppliers, ranging from blue chip multinationals to smaller businesses in fastmoving markets. The role requires clear communication and relationship management with clients, firm and efficient follow up of defaulting debtors, clear and regular reporting of the company's debtor position to management and sales teams in accordance with our internal procedures._

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and develop relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Query resolution
- with a "Right first time" behaviour.

  • Reconcile and post daily cash receipts including cheques, BACS, Direct Debits, and recurring cards charges
  • Chase all overdue clients in a timely manner and in accordance with the credit control chase cycle
  • Send out reminder letters and statements on a regular basis
  • Manage own time to ensure that all tasks are completed in line with the credit control chase cycle
  • Achieve cash, aged debt targets and call targets
  • Escalate nonpayment issues or unresolved queries to AR Manager in a timely manner
  • Issue Final Demand notices and preparing files for referral to Debt Collection Agency
  • Credit checks on new and existing clients
As Fin Ops is a small team, there is also the opportunity to be upskilled on billing and accounts payable tasks

Our Ideal MVFer:


  • Excellent telephone and communication skills and must be confident and comfortable in a high number of calls and chasing debt
  • Experience of chasing clients globally and in several currencies
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Excellent eye for detail

  • Experience of allocating cash/payments
  • Experience of credit checks
