Job description


You will be a key part of the Principal Surveyor's team in Land Stewardship, supporting the fascinating, wide-ranging and varied work across the NRW managed estate (including the substantial Welsh Government Woodland Estate) and wider business.

You will manage, maintain and improve data (including financial), processes, systems and records (such as deeds and agreements). Working with multiple and multi-faceted teams you will be a central point of contact for estates matters.


You will hold a key role in the preparation of, implementation of, and compliance with, guidance, desk instructions and processes associated with property related matters.


Knowledge and experience of the following:

Knowledge of:

Welsh, UK and EU legislation related to Land and Estates Management; Welsh, UK Government policy drivers in Land and Estates Management, and the issues and opportunities in Wales.


Experience of:
technical analysis and interpreting a range of environmental information and data; analysing large data sets.

Competence in a range of IT software, specifically Geographic Information Systems and the suite of standard software.

Working in a programme and project management environment with Project Management experience and/or qualifications.

Working towards professional membership or aspiration to become a professional member of a relevant institution.

Share your knowledge and expertise to help solve problems, supporting all Heads of Business in EPP as required.
