Right now, we're looking for an Off Trade Finance Controller in our London Office

Here within our Off Trade Finance team, we play a critical role in helping the business deliver both the Off Trade and the Total Business's objectives through business partnering our Grocery account teams, providing robust and insightful reporting and proactive management of the commercial cost base and balance sheet.

About the role

As the Finance Controller you will play a critical role in protecting the business, with responsibility for ensuring robust governance and financial control are in place across the Off Trade.

You will be accountable for managing the balance sheet integrity throughout the year, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance with our internal and external control framework.

You will business partner with the sales teams covering 4 of our biggest customers, and also take ownership for total Off Trade from a month end and forecasting perspective.

Reporting to the Head of Off Trade Finance, you will also have direct line management of one finance analyst.

Who we're looking for

A commercially aware Qualified Accountant with a track record of delivering in an FMCG environment within a fluid and fast moving commercial area.

Your pro-active and positive attitude will allow you to intervene on fundamental issues and exploit business opportunities to drive growth.

You will have experience of business partnering senior stakeholders.

You're also likely to bring experiences to this role that are not listed above - as long as you have a thirst for learning and development, not every box needs to be ticked when it comes to skillsets.

As this role is office based, please note we currently operate a hybrid working framework which allows us to capture the benefits of both working in the office and at home.

For full time roles, we work a minimum of 3 days in the office, a Tuesday and Thursday are for all, with the third day being defined by the colleague.
