Your role

  • Drive our FX Options electronification strategy
  • Develop our automated trading platform which incorporates both pricing and risk management systems.
  • Lead dedicated quant trader and quant dev pods who design and backtest models, run statistical analysis on data, code up the live algos in java and maintain our java code base.

  • The FX Options etrading team is an established, high performing team that sits on the FX Options trading floor, integrated with the trading team.
  • The role reports into the Head of Global Markets Principal Electronic Trading and the team collaborates closely with etrading teams in the other assets within Global Markets, sharing etrading technologies and techniques.
  • Examples of algorithms that the team is responsible for include automated volatility surface marking, electronic market making on our single dealer platform and external venues such as CME, automated gamma hedging and risk management.

Your expertise

  • Strong, practically based FX Options business knowledge gained through quant and/or trading experience
  • Strong mathematical background, particularly statistics, data analysis and option pricing theory
  • Good knowledge of Java or C++ and/or Python.
  • Experience with building and designing systems and algos for options pricing/risk management
  • Experience managing a quant team
  • Masters or PhD in a quantitative field such as Maths, Physics, Comp Sc., Mathematical Finance, Engineering.
