We are looking to recruit a Band 8a Systemic Family Therapist to join the Dorset All Age Community Eating Disorders Service.

This unique service provides eating disorders treatment and care for people of all ages with an eating disorder and their families across the county of Dorset.

The successful applicant will have current experience of delivering family interventions with people who have an eating disorder.


You will be part of a team commissioned to provide NICE concordant treatment and care to adults and young people with an eating disorder, their family/carers.

In return, we will support and facilitate your development by providing an induction, clinical supervision, and management supervision. You will also have an annual appraisal tailored to your needs and experience.

We consider continuing professional development a vital factor in the wellbeing and retention of the team and for the delivery effective treatment and care.

To be an integral part of the Dorset All Age Community Eating Disorders Service

To provide systemic family therapy assessment and interventions for patients with an eating disorder and their family.

To provide family therapy advice and supervision to colleagues
