Role:
CNC Service Engineer


Salary:
£40,000 to £45,000 (DOE)


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week (overtime available)


Netwirking Recruitment are working with a world leading manufacturer with offices and customers based all over the world who are looking for an experienced CNC Service Engineer to join them.


The role itself will have a strong focus on installing, testing, rebuilding / repairing CNC machines and because of this, you will mainly be on the road visiting customers so excellent customer service is needed at all times.

(This includes the throughoutUK and Ireland).

Due to the nature of the role, you will need a full, clean driving licence. A company car will be provided.


The key duties of the role are:

  • Install, test, service and repair/rebuild CNC machines ensuring the equipment conforms with company operating specifications and customer requirements.
  • Promotion of companies CNC machine tool performance & reliability, companies engineering competencies and customer service excellence.
  • Provide prompt engineering support to customer manufacturing operations relating to CNC machine tool installation, product performance, operating & maintenance procedures on customer premises.
  • Provides timely accurate technical advice to customers.
  • Evaluates company CNC product/service performance in the field.
  • Provides technical inputs into development and evaluation of new company products.
  • Ensures the company's products conform to customer production & quality requirements.

Qualifications / Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Relevant trade or engineering qualifications for CNC machine servicing/support or Trade qualified electrical/electronics is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of companies CNC systems or Fanuc Robots and other CNC systems will be an advantage.
  • Strong customer service.
  • Able to meet deadlines, plan and organise work priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated PC Skills (excel, word, and PowerPoint).
