Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in Lambeth?


Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a SEN School based in Lambeth starting immediately.

This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year with a potential to go permanent upon review.

Thedaily rate for the position will be between £80 to £90 dependant on experience.


The School:

The SEN school is 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated providing education for students aged between 9 to 19 years old.

The school is part of a 2 school federation in Lambeth providing education for students with Learning Difficulties with associated social and communicationneeds.

Many of the students within the school have Autism. The school consists of 140 students with all holding an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is easily accessible by public transport and has free parking on site and on local roads.


The Position:


You will be working on a 1:1 basis with students with Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties across KS3 and KS4.

You will be working with different students across year groups aiding their academic development both inside and outside the classroom.

Additionally,you will need to run tailored interventions for students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups of up to 3 students focusing on struggle areas.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold previous experience working within SEN
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
