Description
Reed Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a Secondary school in East London.


The school has a strong SEND provision accessed by pupils with ASD and Complex Needs staffed by a team of LSAs including these vacancies.

You'll be supported by the SENCO to work a combined role of 1-2-1 support and group/class based activities as well asundertake training to develop your skills throughout the year.


This is ideal for someone who can commit to a confirmed long term post for the rest of the academic year.


About you:


  • Experience working in schools, ideally with children aged 11+
  • An understanding of Special Educational Needs including ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia
  • Good behaviour management skills & ability to build rapport with pupils
  • Willingness to undertake compliance checks including Enhanced DBS & employment referencing
