Senior Transport Planner
Office based role

up to £34k (dependant on experience)

Hours:

Grafton Recruitment are working on behalf of a global leading company who are looking for a Depot Administrator to work in their Leicester office.

The role:

You are the main contact person for Drivers and Hauliers
Planning all operational activities on time and in the most costeffective manner.
Dealing with day to day logistics challenges
Providing creative, cost effective, transport solutions
Dealing with customers in a professional manner and problem solving
Arranging deliveries
Dealing with any problems that may arise

You will need:

Minimum of two years road haulage planning experience is essential
Grade C/4 or above in GCSE Maths and English
Ability to work well under pressure and react quickly to customer requirements
Understands and demonstrates a safety culture
A high sense of responsibility, to achieve operational excellence
Communicates clearly with Drivers and colleagues in the office
Excellent telephone and communication skills
Able to plan and organise work in a structured way whilst being able to adapt to ever changing scenarios
Strong team player with ability to work on own initiative
Ability to problem solve and be creative in finding solutions
Fast and accurate IT skills
