About the Role:


We're looking for the leader for our SDR team - to build the team and operations, implement best practices, set up reportable KPIs and achieve success.

You'll also manage external partners such as call centres, meaning you'll own the entire outreach lead generation.


Job Responsibilities/ Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) located overseas, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with sales objectives and targets.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions to equip the SDR team with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively engage prospects, drive sales opportunities and constantly up skilling.
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate interest in our products/services.
  • Drive efforts to book online demonstrations with potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, establishing rapport and trust through personalized communication and followup.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria, ensuring alignment with target customer profiles and potential for business growth.
  • Schedule qualified appointments for software demonstrations with the Sales team,
  • Reporting to Marketing Director and collaborate closely with Sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach campaigns and strategies aimed at maximizing the results
  • Utilize CRM software to track and manage prospect interactions, ensuring accurate and uptodate records of all SDR activities and customer engagements.

  • It's a targetbased role, you'll be able to shape the direction of the department to deliver the best results.
  • You'll be measured based on the number of demo attendants per month generated by the SDR team.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships with prospective customers and follow up in a consistent manner; to coach your team to do this also.
  • Tenacity and the ability to focus on the customer experience
  • Target driven nature, extreme focus on KPIs
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and remain positive
  • International Work/Project/Campaign experience i.e. USA, UK, CANAD advantage but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication (Verbal and Written) Skills
  • Native.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to prioritise work based on business goals

Nice to have:


  • Experience in Multiple CRM tools and useful SDR/Sales tools
  • Previous experience in leading an SDR, BDM marketing or outbound sales / lead generation / telemarketing role
  • Interest / knowledge of IT, ERP, Software Implementation
  • General knowledge of the Trades Industry, such as Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Security etc.
  • Experience in building teams from scratch
