Description
Our department is committed to student training, quality improvement, research and audit. We pride ourselves on our commitment to continuing professional development. All Band 6 staff are led and supervised by a Band 7 or Band 8 Advanced Specialist Dietitian.

We are part of the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW).

Bristol is a fantastic city to live and work in and full of opportunities, with great travel links across the UK and beyond.

You ideally should have at least one-year's paediatric experience or have a good grounding in dietetics. However, we will also consider experienced adult Dietitians who have a passion to learn paediatrics within a tertiary unit. You must be enthusiastic and flexible. Additionally, you must be a good communicator and team worker who can self-direct your learning quickly. You should be computer literate.

If you are looking for a part-time post rather than full-time, there may be scope to provide this. Please get in touch to discuss.

Interviews will be held virtually on Wednesday 29th of May; however please do contact us if you would like to arrange an informal visit to the hospital.

For informal enquiries, please contact:
Shelley Wills (Paediatric Renal Dietitian)

Are you looking to get more experience as a Paediatric Dietitian and want to join a dynamic forward thinking team within a tertiary children's hospital?

We are a large friendly department of Dietitians, supported by Dietetic Support Workers, Special Feed Unit staff and administration staff.

You will have a fantastic opportunity to gain a broad experience in paediatric dietetics.

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is one of the largest acute Trusts in the country, bringing together a combined workforce of over 13,000 staff and over 100 different clinical services across 10 different sites, serving a core population of more than 500,000 people across South West England.

UHBW has been rated by the CQC as 'Good' overall and our staff are proud to deliver excellent care to the people of Bristol, Weston and beyond.
