INTO London are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Assistant to join their busy Facilities/IT team.


As the Facilities Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities, ensuring that they remain conductive to learning and growth.


You will support the Centre's administrative and operational functions in order that a high service level is delivered for all stakeholders.

You will also be handling all planned and reactive works support all staff and student requirements.


Some of your key responsibilities are:

  • Maintenance of all the cosmetic and fabric of the building including painting and decorating, fixing of broken furniture and equipment and general 'handy man' duties.
  • Liaise with relevant staff to ensure the efficient maintenance and running of the facilities and premises; including security, buildings contracts, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, recycling and transport.
  • Ensure suitable working conditions the offices and arrange for necessary repairs.
  • Support and work in the café when required, ensuring we deliver the Student experience.
  • Ensure all Fire Safety System are operating and checked/Tested in line with regulations.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with the partner University and peers and colleagues at INTO Centres.

About You:


  • You will have previous experience in Facilities Management or a similar role.
  • You will be able to communicate with, build and manage relationships with peers, senior managers, academic stakeholders, parents and students from a range of linguistic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Good basic IT skills with a familiarity of Microsoft Office.
