The Senior General Assistant for the Grazing Relief Team is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for providing support across various departments and ensuring smooth operations during periods of staff absence or increased workload.
This role requires a versatile individual capable of adapting to different tasks and environments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
The Senior General Assistant for the Grazing Relief Team will be expected to step in and fulfill duties across multiple functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Various Departments: Provide assistance to different departments within the organization, including but not limited to administrative, clerical, operational, and customer service tasks.
- Maintain Operations Continuity: Ensure continuity of operations during staff shortages or increased workload by stepping in to cover essential tasks and responsibilities.
- Flexibility: Adapt quickly to changing priorities and environments, switching between different roles and responsibilities as required.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong problemsolving skills to address issues that may arise in various tasks or departments.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to coordinate efforts and ensure seamless transitions during staff changes.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and supervisors to keep them informed of progress, challenges, and any assistance needed.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff members when necessary, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or a background in a variety of administrative, operational, or customer service positions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in different environments and handle diverse tasks.
- Problemsolving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay:
£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Hospitality: 5 years (required)
- Supervisory: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Hygiene Certificate (required)
