Ayton and Snainton Medical Practice is a forward-looking, 4 site practice which offers high quality care to patients. We have a multi-skilled supportive and friendly team and we have a vacancy for a Telephone/Appointment Clerk.

Being the first point of contact for our patients makes you an ambassador for our service so your excellent communication skills are key to this role.

This is a permanent role working on a fixed rota during the hours of 7.45 am and 6.30 pm. Flexibility is essential to provide adequate cover for holiday and sickness for your colleagues

Main duties of the job

The role of Telephone/Appointment Clerk is vital to ensure that our patient's receive the correct care from the correct professional within the team.

The success of the patient's journey depends on the our front line staff offering a caring and professional approach. Liaising with team members to facilitate the patient receiving the right care at the right time is key.

You must have excellent communication skills, be warm, friendly and approachable.

We have a supportive and caring team who are dedicated to ensure that patients receive the care that they deserve.

You will be eligible to join the NHS pension scheme.
