Accounts Assistant | Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Leave | Oswestry | £25,000 - £27,000
We are currently working with a reputable employer in the Oswestry area who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to cover maternity leave.
Working within an extremely friendly and supportive team you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and experience and prove yourself as an asset to the finance function.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Maintaining the purchase ledger from inputting invoices through to payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Maintaining the sales ledger and ensuring that month end processes and reconciliations are completed to agreed deadlines.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations and monitor bank balances.
- Monitor and maintain creditor ledger.
- Ad hoc tasks as required.
About you:
- You will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are key.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
