6.15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 11.15am to 12.30pm, term time only

We have 156, 3 to 4-year-old children on roll and 24 2-year-olds.

We have a vacancy for a Midday Assistant to work within a large team at Reddish Vale Nursery School.

This will be an exciting opportunity for practitioners to support young children in their development of their personal skills including toileting and maintaining hygiene standards.

The role will involve:
Supervision of Children

Escorting children to a dining centre in instances where a journey is involved
Encouragement of the very young children to consume their food
To assist in the development of good table manners
Supervision of children in playground, cloakroom, toilets etc.
To attend to personal care needs of children, including changing nappies, toilet training, dressing, feeding, general hygiene and safety, manual handling and positioning
