About the Role


As Marketing Apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience across our Marketing function by supporting the development and execution of campaigns, assisting with content creation for digital platforms, and contributing to market research initiatives.

This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and make a tangible impact on our reach and impact.


You will be responsible for:


  • Assisting with brand development and Marketing activities such as content creation and campaign management, using Canva, Webflow, Photoshop and Google Analytics as needed to support and inform your contributions.
  • Conducting market research to identify industry trends, customer needs and competitive landscape, providing valuable insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Monitoring and evaluating client reviews received via Glassdoor and Trustpilot, identifying trends and sharing insights to further inform and target our Marketing activities.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of internal and external events, including regular teambuilding activities and annual award ceremonies.
  • Ensuring stocks of all Marketing collaterals (including brochures and new starter merchandise) are consistently maintained.


The role will be based from our Jarrow office, covering our standard working hours of Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm, and Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm with no evenings, no weekends, and an early finish every Friday.

20% of your working time will be dedicated to training towards your qualification.


What you'll bring:

You're passionate about Marketing with a desire to learn and grow in the field.

Clear and effective communication skills are a must; we're also big on creativity and innovation, so you shouldn't be afraid to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.


Your key attributes will include:

  • GCSE Grade 5 English Language or equivalent is essential.
  • Scrupulous attention to detail you'll help our team make sure our Marketing materials are spoton and analyse data for insights.
  • Excellent organisation skills able to collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared team goals.
  • A solid foundation of IT literacy as relevant to the role, including understanding of Microsoft packages. Experience of using Canva would also be advantageous.
