An opportunity has arisen for a full time Administration Assistant to join our busy Undergraduate team within the Medical Education department at the Royal Derby Hospital supporting the delivery of the University of Nottingham medical student curriculum and examinations.


The role is vital in providing an efficient and effective administrative support service, delivering excellent service to our students whilst on placement with us and during their examinations.


In addition to working closely with students, the post will involve working directly with Teaching Leads, Clinical Educators, Volunteer Patients and University staff.

Previous experience of working with patients and/or undergraduate students would be advantageous.

Being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with experience using word, excel and MS Teams is essential.


This is a full time post, however some flexibility is to adjust working hours during the delivery of the examinations, including working longer days and occasional weekends.


To provide a professional and comprehensive Administration Service in departmental areas across the Trust ensuring the effectiveness of all communications and organisational systems at all times.


To support the Undergraduate Education Manager and Operational Co-ordinator with the implementation of the University of Nottingham and University of Leicester medical student clinical placements.
