VACANCY - LEARNING MENTOR

Learning Mentor - PART TIME

Start Date:
January 2023


Corfe Valley Outdoor Learning

Term:
Part Time - 3 days a week


Contract Type:
Fixed Term until September 2024 (may be extended)


Salary:
£10,500 per annum

We are looking to appoint a Learning Mentor to join our team from January 2023

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in supporting a fantastic group of young people.

Duties:


  • Building relationships with children with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Overseeing outdoor and farm based activities
  • Helping to look after the onsite animals
  • Assist with activity preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment
  • Contribute to pupil reports by using photographic and written evidence
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and concerns are passed on to the safeguarding lead
