As a Lived Experience - Engagement and Involvement Worker, you will be a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion of people with lived experience of accessing mental health services, particularly those from racially marginalised communities.

You will ensure the voice of people with lived experience is captured into community services, while addressing barriers to engagement.

  • You have experience of planning, organising, coordination and facilitation of meetings and group activity
  • You can build action plans based on data analysis
  • You have strong written and spoken communication skills to people of all levels
  • You are enthusiastic, confident and able to work flexibly and independently
  • You have good time management and organisational skills relating to the overall number of client contacts offered and clinical sessions carried out each week
  • You are interested in using clinical supervision positively and effectively
  • To keep our colleagues and clients safe, we will be carrying out an enhanced level DBS check for this role. However, that doesn't mean that all historic convictions will necessarily prevent you from working in this role.

What we offer you in return:

  • A two years fixed term contract, with an annual salary of £26,845 (NJC salary point 17)
  • 25 days holiday, and 30 once you've been here five years
  • A relaxed culture where you are expected to plan your own day, take breaks when you need them and enjoy your work
  • Ongoing personal and professional development through regular supervision
  • A supportive, flexible approach to managing staff health and wellbeing, including a wide range of perks, schemes and support.
