Apprentice Jointer - North West, United Kingdom - ENWL
Description
Electricity North West distributes electricity through 57,000 kilometres of overhead lines and underground cables, enough to go around the world one and a half times. We actively manage the power network in real time, responding to issues with remote technology and teams on the ground. We provide an essential service to 5 million people in 2.4 million properties covering 10% of the electricity demand of Great Britain from Cheshire to Cumbria.
We have the most digitally-advanced network in Europe and over the next five years we'll invest £2 billion to increase the network's capacity and enable the transition to net zero. This is an exciting time to join us and start your careers in the utilities industry.
Do you have a passion for the great outdoors, no matter the weather? Do you like rolling your sleeves up and taking on a challenge? If you do, then our Cable Jointing Apprenticeship could be just for you.
These cables transmit the flow of electricity from our substations to towns and cities, connecting homes and businesses across the North West, keeping the power flowing and the lights on for our customers.
