We are excited to be working on behalf of an award-winning Liverpool-based multi-service marketing agency, who are looking for a talented and motivated Creative Director to lead their creative department.

The Creative Director will strategically lead onthe conceptualisation, design, and delivery of all client's creative assets.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Creative Director will quickly interpret business needs and turn them into compelling creative solutions for their extensive and impressiveclient portfolio.

You will lead a team and support the business in achieving their ambitious growth targets.

Role:

This is a senior role for a creative thinker and proven leader within the industry.

You will work as the creative lead across our impressive client portfolio and a fundamental part of the agencies continued rapid growth strategy for 2023.

You'll be involvedin planning advertising, supervising the entire creative process and guiding the team to deliver client projects to budget and on time.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Building an environment for the creative team to work in and overseeing their ideas and projects
  • Taking responsibility for the creative philosophy and the standard of output across the agency
  • Developing ideas for advertising or promotional campaigns
  • Pitching concepts to clients
  • Overseeing several projects from start to finish, keeping to deadlines, and signing off on these projects before they are presented
  • Liaising with clients to keep them informed and to highlight any issues
  • Understanding the commercial aspects of the agency
  • Hiring, managing and leading the creative team.

EssentialSkills:


  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to inspire the creative team to give their best
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills in order to make outstanding pitches
  • Plenty of creative ideas and an understanding of the clients' vision
  • An awareness of current trends in advertising and design
  • A selfstarting attitude and an open outlook
  • Resilience under pressure and against deadlines
  • Skills in managing people, projects and resources.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in the sports and/or education sector
  • Understanding of a Production Company and experience within video and filming
  • Marketing or Business Degree
