Description

RECEPTIONIST (casual) - GLL Children's Centres
£12.16ph (includes paid Annual Leave allowance)

Location:
Abbey Wood & Thamesmead area of Royal Greenwich

GLL is looking for flexible workers to support the excellent reception service we offer to visitors to our Children's Centres.

If you have a passion for people, and can deliver a first-class customer experience, this is your chance to become the friendly face of a busy Children's Centre reception.

This role involves covering existing staff absences.

As one of the team, you'll enjoy making a difference to every person who walks through our doors with your warm welcome and helpful attitude.

Often a parents first port of call, you'll answer the phone, handle enquiries, carry out service administration and lots more to ensure that our frontline service runs smoothly and efficiently; all with a smile on your face and knowing that you have our support behind you.

It is a priority for us that we have the right person for the job on reception, so that our visitors feel welcomed and given the attention they deserve.

Sometimes, you are likely to be needed at any of our four Children's Centres at short notice so you'll need to be flexible and have a positive attitude.

Good IT and communication skills are vital for this customer service role, combined with the ability to quickly get up to speed on our service activity programme, what services we offer and the systems we use, as well as keep the whole environment tidy and relevant.

As well as a can-do attitude that shines through all you do, you'll learn new skills, and will need to react to parents and visitors with tact and sensitivity too.

In return, we offer a range of benefits that you'd expect from the UK's largest leisure provider

The welfare and safety of the children in our care is of the utmost importance to us at GLL.

We follow safer recruitment procedures to ensure that our staff are checked and appropriate to work with children and young people.

Therefore we will require you to complete an enhance DBS check before you will be allowed to start work.

GLL is an equal opportunities employer.
